All Round Grease: Designed to suit the maintenance of CeramicSpeed Bearings, the CeramicSpeed All-Round Grease maximizes your bearings’ lifetime and performance. This type of grease is a low to medium viscosity lubricant and works as the best compromise between friction influence and lifetime. We recommend it for optimal use in dry and sunny weather conditions, where no or very little contamination threatens the bearing. The application covers mostly road riding conditions, however it can be used off-road in the same weather settings, on all types of CeramicSpeed Bearings. When lubricating your bearings, we recommend a fill rate of 60-80%.
Long Life Grease: We call it Long Life because this grease delivers the best protection and lifetime of your bearings even in the most harsh riding conditions. This is the best choice if you spend your time riding your bike in a humid environment and you do not use coated bearings or if your cycling application is an off-road discipline. Be aware that the Long Life grease has a slightly higher friction coefficient than the standard All Round grease. This is a medium viscosity type of grease, designed to deliver the best performance under the worst riding conditions. The recommended fill rate is 70-100%, depending on the weather conditions and riding application.
Race Day Grease: CeramicSpeed Race Day Grease is a great choice when riding short time trials or track, designed to deliver as low friction as possible, thanks to the Dynamic Viscosity Transformation (DVT) technology used in its formula. When the CeramicSpeed Race Day Grease lubricating film is subject to the high pressure at the point of contact between the ball and race, the Race Day Grease instantly changes its state to a lower kinematic viscosity, similar to that of a light oil. The DVT technology provides the best of both worlds for the rider - the low friction properties of a light oil combined with the longevity of a light grease. This grease is ideal for ceramic bearings and is suitable for steel bearings as well. When greasing the bearings, the recommended fill rate on road is 25-30% and on track 15-20%. Re-lubrication is required more frequently when using Race Day Grease.
